Clap. Clap. Clap…Hello and welcome to the new Deep Narcosis Scuba blog. We hope to attract people who ask questions about everything scuba diving and want to learn more and perfect their scuba diving experience.
Kevin is originally from Connecticut with stops all over the US and Michelle spent most of her life in Missouri. We fell in love with scuba diving on our honeymoon in Jamaica and kept diving when we returned to our home at that time in Missouri. We moved to the Phoenix area in 2007.
When we came to the Phoenix area from Missouri we left behind a dive shop that we felt was the perfect balance between a home away from home and a retail establishment. The very first time we walked in the scuba shop doors, we felt like members of the family. This made it difficult when we started looking for the perfect shop in the Phoenix Valley because our new shop had very big shoes to fill and our shop in Missouri set the bar pretty high. We went into every shop within 30 miles of our future home and felt a little like Goldilocks. This one was too commercial, that one wasn’t friendly enough, and so on. Over the years, we became associated with several shops and still never quite got the same experience as we had in Missouri.
When we decided to go forward with our business, we wanted to keep that family-like environment and attract like-minded people that care about safety and continuing their diving education. We love to check out all of the new information that is out there and we have decided to focus on people that are interested in precison scuba diving. Precision scuba diving just means that we are continually learning and experiencing something new. We try to be better divers with every new dive.
Here’s where you’ll find the latest & greatest news on everything about precision scuba diving – from cool product/service updates to our clients (yes, there are wildly interesting people running around that we will try to feature).
Along the way, we’ll try to make this blog a touch more interesting to read than your refrigerator’s user manual.
So bookmark this blog, email to a friend/colleague or add our RSS feed, and let’s pump up the volume on news at Deep Narcosis Scuba. And of course, we’d love getting your feedback on precision scuba diving and this blog — and what you want to see discussed (and showcased) in the future.
Until next time, stay wet my friends…
